For those that did not know, we held our Annual General Meeting last Monday Evening in which all positions were made vacant. It was great to see some new faces at the meeting who were keen to help around the club.
The new committee positions are on the clubs Facebook page and will be on the club website very soon. The club website will also have the contact information for the new committee.
This year came the change of two executive members of our club. Our President for the past two years Matt Pannell (Maggot) stepped down. Maggot has not only been President but an Executive member for over a decade overall and has been a member of the club for 30 years and a life member since 2009. We also lost Junior Vice President Kristy Kani who had been a executive member for the past 5 years. I would like to thank them both for the hard work and dedication they have given to the club over the past years.
I have now been nominated as President which left the Treasurer role open. Luckily we have Perry Rutter coming into the role. While Perry has not been on the executive before, he brings great ideas and experience to the role. While the position remained vacant at the AGM, Luke McCarthy has stepped up to fill the Junior Vice President Role for the 2021 season. Luke was Junior Vice in 2017 and has been a coaching junior teams since 2016. I look forward to working with both Luke and Perry throughout the coming season.
We still have two positions left Vacant on our Committee this year, Webmaster and Canteen Suppervisor. If you are interested in either of these roles please contact me at email@example.com
Registrations for the 2021 season will open on 1st February. This year Registrations payments will only be taken online and in full. Unfortunately this is now CCF procedure which we have had to implement. Registration fees have remained the same as last year and are as follows;
Seniors – $360.00
Students 19+ – $320.00
Competition Juniors – $230
Non-Comp Juniors – $210
You will need to register online again in the 2021 season and can be done at home or at one of our registration days where we can assist you with registering and utilizing the Active Kids Voucher Program from the NSW Government. There will also be gear and merchandise for sale.

We have received communication from CCF this week that the competition will start on the second weekend of April in the 2021 season. This is due to Easter being early this year. First games will be held on 10th and 11th April.
There will be no games scheduled on Anzac Day Sunday 25th April however games will go ahead on Saturday 24th. All teams will play on both weekends of the June/July school holidays.
The finals format for All Age and 35s Competitions will remain the same, being 1v4 and 2v3 with the winners going straight to the Grand Final. CCF have also gone away from using dedicated wash-out rounds, instead reserving some time at the end of the season and mid-week. They have also said that the finals series could be pushed back if required.
The Central Coast Cup will be back up and running in 2021 after being cancelled early last year due to COVID-19, with our MPL First and Reserve Grade and our WAA1 taking part.
Lastly, we still need more help on our General Committee. This would only be helping out around the grounds on weekends that you are available and assisting with general duties such as desk duty and helping set up the fields. If interested please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
